The bite is insane...jigs in 6-9 ft timber on north banks (main lake) from 5:00 until about 7:00, then a jig under a cork on rip rap on south bank for another dozen...good stuff!

My brother says the same thing Greg....he says if he can wade out and find a stump with 1.5 water on it in the back of a cove, watch out.  Me and the wife are going to spend sun up to sun down out there Saturday.  I hope I have enough by the end of the day to not have to clean another one till next year.

I've been excited all week to catch some slabs, then here comes a few hail storms, and now I'm working all weekend.   I'm taking donations of freshly cleaned crappie if yall are feeling generous! Wear em out.
