Amon Carter outside of Bowie Tx in the winter time is insane!  Main lake Creek Bend on the South side of the Old Lake under the boat houses in 30ft of water!!  Go out there and tear into some 15in slabs!! Awesome!

Lake Palestine, under the Highway 155 Bridge, November 1 thru February 1 you can fill the upright freezer in about one week on jigs.

WOW.... so much information. So many lakes. Where am I gonna find the time. Thanks guys really. A buddy of mine takes me out for some Crappie in the later and early months of the year. He always puts me on fish but I always seem to share what I get to bring home with others. Needless to say, I run out of fillets way too soon. Hopefully when it starts to cool down I will be able to put some of the suggestions to use.

Thanks again.

Lake Lewisville out from the Little Elm ramp. Under the 423 bridge on the east side two pillars out. Sunken trees lots of Crappie.

I've been doin' pretty good on Grapevine the past month. Brush in 17'-25' of water and using plastics and hand tie jigs.

BTW, the new Lake Fork Tackle Baby Shad in Chartreuse Ice, Chartreuse Glow, and Pearl / Chartreuse has been HOT!

27 nice keepers, but it took 4 hours to catch them...lots of limits being caught by others and it's just plain fun.

FYI I love winter time Slabs!!  Up at Amon Carter in Bowie we slayed them this weekend!  Had 3 limits yesterday and 58 fish today between My Old Man. . . My Paw-pa and Me!  we prob had 13-15 in the 15+ range and a I would say the majority are in the 10 3/4- 12 range!  Red head 1/16 with a blue tube wht skirt!
