We did the port Oconnor Jetty thing Wednesday of last week. We landed 10 slot reds, 7 overs to 33", 2 huge jacks, and 21 sheephead along with the usual gafftop. We only saw 2 boats all day. This was my first spring trip as we usually do the Oct/ Nov thing. Used guide Keith Gregory, i highly recommend him.

Good stuff Behnken.  Do the reds right as hard as the falcon bass?

Nice monster Jack fish...that is good eating and a great fight.i will see if Keiths contact info is at reservefishing.com. I will be going to make a trip to the coast in a month or so and will need a guide for at least one of those days.

Went to Baffin a couple of weeks ago. The trout fishing is great there. Hoping to go again this weekend if the wind will let us.

How big was it?

Baffin shocked me.  Ive fished Rockport, CC, and Aransas most of the time Im down there, but we fished this day in the pass, just past Baffin, and flat out killed them.  This was my biggest and PB Trout:

Looks like a damn good trout to me Sinkey. This time of year they get skinny but still fun to catch.
