Got up at 3 saturday morning and went down to the O for the day with 3 buddies in their bay ranger. Tide was slack when we got out to the jetty's and it started out very slow. Tide started moving around 9ish  and we set up on a rock point. Using cut bait we caught 5 with one nice 37 inch fish, the other 4 were 22 to 27 eaters. The action slowed and we headed out toward the ends of the jetties nearest the gulf. We set up 50 yards inside the north jetty. 3 guys near us were using some serious tackle and using fist sized crabs for bait. They hooked up on 2 huge 45 plus inch reds while we cheered them on. We were getting eaten up by hard heads. Finally a school moved our way and we caught another keeper and 2 more overs about 36 inches.

Next time i am finding crabs and trying that, keeps you from constantly catching harheads and trash fish it seems. We go for the overs anyhow.
