Hitting them again this weekend. Hoping the big bulls are there. A tarpon would be nice also.

Saturday between 4 of us we caught 26 bull reds and a 5' bull shark. All reds were between 36" and 43". Quite a good time even though the weather was not to good. Sunday there was no tide movement and the bite vanished completely. Only had one red, 26" long all day.  Not even the trash fish were biting. That will be my last coast trip for the year but will look forward to doing it again next year.

I've had some good trips out there on those same jetties.  I miss my POC trips.  Always seemed to catch some good fish.  Derick you ever fish outside the jetties in the gulf?  Some of the absolute best fishing I have ever had on the coast was out there.

In my opinion the inshore and gulf fishing is much better at port Oconner than that around Port A. Far less pressure there.

that's why we always liked going there.  Hardly ever crowded.  Decent condos to rent.  Great fishing!
