Had our limit of trout and could still see the ramp from where we were fishing in Corpus Christi Bay.  Took a run up into Nueces bay and caught my limit of reds but my brother in-law was stuck with the dinks.  Caught probably 50 fish from 6am-2pm.  My seven year old nephew tagged along and caught a couple of trout with us but ran out of steam and had to have my sister pick him up at the ramp before 10am. He did catch a few keeper trout but the action picked up as we moved to another spot 200 yards from where we started.
