Schilling and I went down a week or so ago and the trout action was great, Limits (15ea) by 9:30 on natural 4" Gulp on jigs. Then off to the shallows for easy red limits (5) on same. It was a great three days and if you are looking for some salt action it is a great time. We were a bit late for the flounder and will be earlier next year for the run. Fish were mid lake north to Turner Bay and then to some weirs and Black lake for reds in short order. Big trout was just under 25, most in the 20-21 range and most all the Reds were great eaters at around 24". We stayed at Spicers cabins for $80 a night, 3 beds/kitchen/ full fridge/ freezer, wash out/parking for boat/ washer/dryer/cable. The freezer is full. By the way, the giant Black Drum in the 30-40lb class are also running around if your spinning line gets a little twisted, they will get that fixed right up for you during a 10 minute tug o war.
