I've got some minor de-oxidation work to do on the topcap and would like to know what is the best sealer for the gelcoat?

Not really a "sealer" made for gelcoat other then wax... Buff it then wax it. I would wax it every other month and use Bass Boat saver on in between.

Thanks Chris.  I need to bring the boat up for a Hamby's beaching bumper someday soon and have the years of bruises looked at.  I have another brand on and need something more appropriate for my usage.  How much are the Hamby’s?

How much are the Hamby’s?

There are two versions of the Hamby's out there but only one to go with. That would be the Hamby's Heavy version. Not knowing Chris' install rates, I would bet you will spend something in the neighborhood of $500.

It is well worth the money and a must have. There is not a boat out there that I would own if it didn't have a Hamby's on it. And as another item that is pretty much a must have these days.... I dropped my boat of this evening for an alarm install. I got this really cool siren for it. It sounds just like a .45 Springfield XD.  Grin

So true about the Hamby's Michael... Since having mine put on last year. I have beached it numerous times on a ramp and nailed several stumps...

I might have to get me one of those alarms....lol

Ronnie - that is marinetex.  Good for temporary patch.  Pain for those that do the permanent fix.
