Whats the best trailer tires to buy friend said something about other tires with same ratings and load specs as goodyears with half the price ,and bass cat dont use the goodyears either on there trailers even new ?any help?

I believe there is a brand out there called Carlisle that is supposed to be a decent tire at a better price than the Marathons. Never had anything other that Marathons so have no personal experience. I think you can get the Carlisle's at Wal Mart.

I've run nothing but Goodyear Marathons and have never had any trouble. Very good tires, just my opinion.

You can still find the Goodyear Marathons at some tire stores. I'm in agreement that they are great tires.

I just replaced my marathons with new marathons.they lasted over 3 years with 50000 miles worth of road.lots of trips to Michigan and falcon and amistad. I could of kept them for longer as I had no problems.I can't recommend any other tire.
