Does anyone else have an issue with their SI transducer constantly moving?  Even in normal driving conditions, water friction changes the angle of it.  I have tried to tighten down the bolt that holds it in place, with little change.  Anyone suggestions?

Contact Clint Farris here.  I just bought an awesome setup for the transducer that mounts on the jackplate.  You can come check mine out if you want.

The screw isn't what holds it down. Take the screw out, remove the transducer and bend in the sides of the metal bracket.

Yes, mine is all over the place.  I have to re tighten it after every trip.  I'm thinking about epoxying the whole dadgum thing to the bottom of my jackplate and forgetting the whole thing, lol!

Transducer Shield and saver is the way to go. I called Scap and Shirley directly. Great people and prompt service.  I did not know about Clint and Colt at the time.

I bought a aluminum holeshot plate for my jackplate and mounted the SI transuder on it verses the jackplate mount because the cable is better protected.  The cost is about half as much as well.

Dennis, that's what I run on my Ranger.  They are great, there is no more getting on plane, you are on plane as soon as you punch the throttle.
