I have a 90 Johnson on Betty.  Fuel pump, which is also the VRO, went out a while back.  I have been using electric pumps to get by, but finally bought a new one.  Retail was almost $400!  Crazy.  But I replaced it and tested it out last night.  I got the one that no longer has the VRO on it.

Ran like a scalded ape.

I got the new pump from Fun-N-Sun.  The pumps from OReillys were just electric fuel pumps.   I tried two kinds.  Neither lasted.

Yep, it requires constant TLC when it is off the water, because it gets none while it is on the water!
