I have an '08 Skeeter 20i with an LCX 28c on the console.  I'm thinking about getting an HDS8 and was wondering if there is room on my console to take the LCX 28c out and replace it with the HDS8?

Has anyone tried this yet?

If not you can plug the hole where your 28 is and put it on the top of the side. I see a lot of people doing this. Yeah, makes a hole, but also gives you plenty of room !
