Hey guy's,  I have an issue with my tilt trim on my 99 yamaha vmax 200, the trim rod on the passenger side will not deploy at the same time the one does on the drivers side like it use too. The passenegr rod will not go down at all without me forcing it to.  I have tried putting fluid in it while holding the trim switch in the up position thinking it was just low on fluid. Have I blown my tilt trim or is their something I can do ?

Are you trying to retract the rams when it is on the transom saver? Does it work properly when in the lake?

Hey Tommy thanks for the response,  The motor will not pick up, I put the motor on the motor holder at the very top and I tried several times to actuate the trim. I noticed that the ram on the driver side was working great,  the other ram would not go down, at all un- less I used my hand to force the ram down. I would then trim it back up and the ram on the driver side would come up so far and stop then the ram on the passsenger side would come up but netither are going up far enough to raise the motor all the way up. If I remember right both rams came up at the same time but now one at a time.   I thought it might be low on fluid so I tried to fill the res. while I was trimming it up and this did not work.  I am thinking I have a seal gone out now.     Thanks for any response

It may have a manual release valve leaking by or open partially. Check to be sure it is tight. Otherwise it will be something in the system.
