I'm looking at making a fiberglass step to be fitted between my new front seats.  What fiberglass board would be recommended?  I've found some G10 Fiberglass Board on-line.  I was wondering what the experts would recommend.

I'm a newby with glass and want to do it as correctly as I can.  How thick should the board for a weight supporting step be?

I know the perfectionist you are, but I would use marine grade plywood and cover it with carpet.  About $50 total.  It would last the better of 5 years.

Lay a couple of sheets of glass over that marine grade and it will last longer then the boat

I'm getting closer.  I have rounded the front edge, added a slot for the measuring board in the front edge, cut in the drink holders and sanded it smooth ready for finishing. I have gained a sincere appreciation for the effort required for glass work.

Thanks all.  I sent it off to be coated in the same carbon fiber pattern as the rest of the boat panels. 5-6 weeks I'll see what it looks like.
