I have an 07 Legend LE21 with a Yamaha 250HPDI.  I am currently running a 25 T1 with decent results but was wondering if anyone has tried a 27 T1 on a similar rig.

I can run 72mph with a normal load at 5600rpm.  Holeshot is great with a medium to light load but is a little sluggish with full load.

Any thoughts?

Just an opinion, but if you are only turning 5600, you are about at the top on your prop.  If you put on a 27, your RPM will drop to probably around 5300.  Most engine manufacturers want you to run WOT at 5600 to 6000.

Cooler water temps we are seeing will help in performance.

If you change prop brands, you may get more performance, but the brand you are using is the highest you probably should run.  Maybe a fury in a 25 or 26 would be a good option.

I agree with Kernan 100% on this one. I have also heard with a fury you might need to go down in pitch if you have been running a T1.

I switched from a 27ti to a 26p fury this year.  i lost about 3 mph top end but gained a hell of a hole shot.  Like any prop, its still slightly sluggish with full wells, tanks, and a partner.  Not to mention, the boats drives a lot better.

the LE21 with a yamaha is too big of a boat for a fury.  the fury's diameter is not big enough to carry a boat that big.
 the t1 is the best.

a tempest will give similar results as the t1 and be much cheaper.
