My Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer today. Oncologist appt next week to detrrmine treatment. Please pray for him. Thanks

I really appreciate your prayers and I will keep everyone informed. A good friend of mine passed away today also. Mark McFadden.  Please pray for Doug McFadden and family as well.  I met Doug over 20 years ago playing basketball at the Carrollton Rec center. We have been close friends ever since. His brother passed today and I do not know the details but I knew Mark and he is one of the those guys that everybody loved. A great guy. Please pray for the family.

Petscan was complete on Tuesday, results came in today and the cancer is isolated in the left upper lobe of his left lung. Biopsy to determine the type of cancer is proving to be difficult since the physicians cannot agree on how to accomplish this task due to the close proximity to the heart. Generally it would be done with a needle but they are having a hard time determining the best way to get a needle into the lung and miss the heart. It may be require a more advanced procedure to get the biopsy completed so we can determine the best course of treatment for the type of cancer that he has.

Please Keep him in your prayers.

Doug McFadden is coping well with the loss of his brother.

Thanks for your prayers and I will continue to keep my Dads situation updated.

Joel, I'm sorry I just saw this request. I pray that God will guide the surgeons to make the right decision for treatment for your dad. I pray for healing for him and comfort for you and your family. I also ask Prayers for your friends loss as well.
I know know what you are going through. I lost my mom to lung cancer a few years ago.

I thank all of for your prayers and I believe your prayers have made a difference. The biopsy was finally done last week and we just found out today that 2 rounds of chemo followed up with radiation should take care of the lung cancer. One of the few cases of lung cancer that was found early. Not out of the wooxs yet so please continue to pray for him.   Thanks again

Dad is doing good. The chemo is working and the tumor has shrunk considerably. Chemo and radiation should.finish it off hopefully soon.  Thanks for the prayers.

Dad is doing good. 12 of 37 radiation treatments are done. The first 2-3 treatments were a little tough but the rest have been much easier. He is really doing well and your continued prayers are much appreciated.

Thank all of you guys so much. I earnestly appreciate your prayers. Dad had a petscan on wed and the results came back clean. He will still have to complete one last chemo treatment at the drs recommendation.

Thanks again for your prayers.

The most important thing is that we believe Jesus died for our sins and we believe and accept Him.

One last thanks to all of you!!!

The last round of chemo has taken its toll. Dad has pneumonia and was admitted into the hospital today. Please say a prayer for him once again.

Dad is out of the hospital and doing much better. He should be good to go now. Just gonna take some time to regain strength.
