Looking at trying to make my first rod.  Outside of Barlow's is there any other place to buy graphite blanks?  The closer to Arlington the better.

I know G-Loomis and St Croix are two of the better blanks but for my first time I do not want to spend that kind of money.  I want to make a 7'2" MH Fast Action Frog rod.  What blank would you suggest in the $75.00 - $100.00 price range.

Any help would be appreciated.

Clay call Bob Stearns at 281-844-5545 he can help you save a little money and steer you in the right direction.  He's been building rods for over 20 years.
