25 lbs. Per 100 gallon rubbermaid stock water tank (easier to clean) . Ranch house stock alt you get at the feed store . Put salt in tank before filling , mix well with water . Add chlorine nuetrilizer as well , either Surelife products or amaquel that you can get at fish stores . Use a rubber net to transfer fish from hospital tank to salt dip . Immerse fish in solution for count of ten . Then transfer fish to your big 1,000 gallon trailer tanks or back into the lake . Last step in process . Why do we do this ? Helps restore slime coat and makes parasites on their bodies let go and or kills them .

We use a salt dip at our club tournaments.  We pour the fish from the weigh-in bag that the weigh master uses into the salt dip (which is a deep plastic sink with removable legs with a basket in it) and then we lift the basket out with the fish in it and pour the fish back in to the anglers bag that has water in it and they take their fish back to the water for release.  Our local TPWD biologist helped us with this process.  Salt dip is an important part of the process.

Thanks for the ratios and sharing this info!
