In conjunction with the already ongoing study of DNA testing of 10 lb. and heavier bass on Lake Falcon, as of today Lake Amistad will be part of this study/research project. The study will determine the percentage of pure florida's, intergrades, and northern strain of largemouths that reach 10 lbs. or better with fin clip samples taken from the fish. I will be spearheading this project here as the official sample taker and would appreciate any and all help of spreading the word of this study. Any of you catching a 10 lb. or heavier bass, please contact me and I will meet you wherever you are , whether at a ramp dock or even come out in my boat to you. This research will be vital in evaluating the genetic make-up of these behemoths for future analysis . I appreciate any and all help to spread the word about this program. Regards.
