I'm headed down there Saturday.  Who else is going for the Everstart?  I wish I could leave right now, but the job keeps getting in the way.

I'll be fishing the co side of the Everstart.  I'm looking forward to it.  Hoping to learn how to catch a 30 lb stringer down there.

I second that 30lb stringer Glenn.  There will be a few of them caught possibly.  That place has them for sure.

Amistad sure was nice this past Sat and Sun once the fog lifted the lake was slick as glass, we normally don't see it like that.  Storms and winds predicted for the next two days, but the weather is shaping up great for next weeks Everstart event, if these weathermen are right!  Oh and the fish were biting, see you on the water.   Cheesy

Kernan I was just trying to figure out what JR was looking for. If its unproductive water he wants then he might want to track my boat as well. I wasn't alone in not getting it done at Falcon if you recall.  Roll Eyes

I havent been down in a while but I have heard there is a LOT of unproductive water right now. Tight areas holding them even for Amistad standards. Always fun though.

I'm not familiar with any of you guys boats, so maybe I should buy some LoneStar Bass Flags and you can hang them from your light poles for me.  So I can get in on some "Hole Jumping".  I fish Toledo and Rayburn, it's famous for its hole jumping.  Maybe I'll see some of ya'll at Angler's Lodge for breakfast, and  I can just follow ya'll out from there.

I'll say one thing, that JR is a pretty good stick on any lake. I met JR once while we were staying at Anglers Lodge and he is a pretty good fellar. When we get there and if we get on fish and as I'm not fishing one of the up coming tournaments I don't mind helping anyone.

Carp? We don't need no stinkin' carp.

Why fish for carp when the catfish are biting so good!  Cool

looks like some potential flooding at Amistad rivers according to the weather...fill up the lakes out that way. Might even have put a little in poor ol Ivie.
