Many years ago I would have these guys some where in there in no particular order:
Roland Martin - even tho he is a total ---hole
Bill Dance
Larry Nixon aka Mr. Megabucks - anytime any place
Billy or Bobby Murray
Hank Parker
Gary Klien
Rick Clunn
Ricky Green
Tommy Martin
Randy Fite
Lots of Texas guys

Nowadays:
KVD
Skeet Reese
Gary Dobyns
Jimmy Reese
Aaron Martins
Gary Klien
Rick Clunn
Edwin Evers

I really think Skeet is the top guy right now.  Consistently on top.  I don't know about 10 though.  It is hard for me to say some of the older guys are in my top ten.  Fishing public lakes has gotten 10 times harder in just the years I have been fishing.  Just think about how good it was 30 or 40 years ago when only 10% of the people today were fishing.

Mike,

Think about all the advances in equipment and technology though. I still think the new guys are better, but they have better tools. They should be.

Hank Parker is at the top. The rest doesn't matter.

No doubt we have some tools these days.  Can you imagine what side imaging would have done if you alone had it 20 years ago.  Fun stuff!

I'd prefer to have just a gps with A navionics chip 20 years ago. All that offshore structure with no one being able to find it. Sweet.

If its of all time then I would probably have
1. KVD
2. Rick Clunn
3. Roland
4. Bill Dance
5. Skeet
6. Hank Parker
7. Denny Brauer
8. Larry Nixon
9. Gary Klein
10. Mark Davis

I agree that Skeet should be a Top 5 guy he is probably one of the most versatile guys on tour and his career isn't over yet....although even though many don't like him Iaconelli is just outside the Top 10 and I think by the end of his career he will be a Top 10 possibly even a Top 5 angler!

Watching Bill Dance whacking them in the Original Bassmaster Classics in 40' of water offshore structure looking at the flasher makes me think he was way ahead of his time.
