There's Best Western, La Quinta and Super 8 all in the area.  We stayed at the Super in Athens.  It was ok.

I was in the same room with Scotty, Filthy and Cheddar Bob so I had to sleep with one eye open.  Maybe that contributed to the rough experience?  Grin

If you have a RV or camper you can rent a spot right there at Log Cabin if not any of the places mention before are good. I will be fishing also so we should cross paths and I would like to say hi nice to meet people here on the forum face to face. I should be easy to spot I will be the one on the water with a puzzled look on my face trying to figure out what the fish are doing. If for some reason I do figure them out I will be the person in a maroon Astro boat smiling from ear to ear.

Sounds good Kevin, I still havent found a place to stay. Keep forgetting to call. May be sleeping in the boat anchored out! Could be fun I guess?
