Just read on "Wired2Fish" that Ray was killed today in a traffic accident. I hope and pray that this isn't true.

Wow it is true.  It is one Strike King's facebook page now.  That is terrible news at the loss of an industry icon.

Ray really was one of the legends of hunting and fishing.
More so than that he was a great promoter of hunting and fishing rights and getting kids involved with both sports. He was always at the table when called on to help with kids hunting and fishing events. He was also very pro law enforcement and was one of the sponsors of my K9 unit.

I feel very fortunate to have been able to spend time with Ray and called him a friend. The world truly was a better place with him around. I know he is up there fishing Gods lakes as we speak.
