Here are the preliminary details of our LONESTARBASS.COM INVITATIONAL. Based on your feedback, we are planning to host the tournament at Lake Falcon December 4th and 5th. The plan is to compete a full day on Saturday the 4th, then half-day on Sunday the 5th. There have been some great ideas regarding some fun formats that we are considering.

As it stands, we have a BBQ dinner planned for that Saturday evening. We are working out details for a host hotel and associated costs. More information will be posted soon. The weather at Falcon in December should be ideal and the fishing should be incredible. I will be bringing our complete tournament rig down to Falcon to make this a first-class event!

Hey gang, wen you pre-register, please let us know if you plan to be a "boater" or "non-boater" so we can make sure we have enough boaters!

RAMP:      COUNTY PARK

FORMAT:  INVITATIONAL (OPEN TO LSB MEMBERS PLUS ONE GUEST ONLY)

HOST HOTEL: BEACON LODGE - CABINS ARE $60 PER NIGHT, ROOMS ARE $50 PER NIGHT

ENTRY:    WE PLAN TO KEEP THE ENTRY FEE LOW DUE TO THE HOLIDAY SEASON AND TO KEEP COSTS MANAGABLE. SIDE POT OPTIONS CAN BE MADE IF NECESSARY. MORE INFORMATION REGARDING ENTRY FEE WILL BE POSTED SOON.

To pre-register for this event, simply reply to this post and your name will be added to the invitational list. Please do not pre-register unless you fully intend to make this event. That way we can account for all anglers and make arrangements for meals and block out hotel accomodations.

Early December Falcon. Fishing would be awesome and I bet we could get some south Texas boys involved to give a seat to the yanks that don't want to pull a boat that far.

I'd give a seat up and I know 1/2 dozen guys that would probably do it as well. Keep the entry fee small so it's not about winning but just having a good time.

Depending on where the tournament is. I have a Timeshare that I can trade and if there is one by a particular lake, I can trade for it and help save cost on a room. The rooms we normally get will sleep 6 to 8 people.

I am seriously liking this idea of heading south for this!

Falcon fish have seen plenty of my crankbaits. Just wasn't me throwing them. I'm in if I can find an open backseat.

SWEET!!!!!  Man you have no idea how pumped i am now. I've been invited to falcon a couple times and couldn't make it. Can not wait.

I'm coming down with the Gordon's but will need a room/place to stay and a backseat to fish.

I know it get a bit crowded sometimes, but three to a boat might not be a bad thing to consider based on the boats/participants if needed. Just a thought.

I was thinking about planning a Falcon trip anyway. This sounds like a great time. I'm going to have to be a maybe for now though.
