Anyone been to Lake tyler lately? I am going to esat texas to visit family and uaually fish Athens. I would like to try a new lake and I have never fish Tyler.  Any info would help.

Almost 8 feet low. Hill Creek ramp is the only usable ramp and it is marginal from what I hear. I think I would stick with Athens at this time.

Is lake Tyler the one in the State Park there. I have caught some very decent Bass out of Tyler State Park

No Lake Tyler is not the small lake in the Tyler State Park. Lake Tyler is out of Whitehouse.
