Ok,weather update. Looks like 74 degrees in the morning rising all day to 94 at 1pm with 30%-40% cloud cover and winds from the SE  8-12 gusting to 24 mph.  Sounds like a great day to me. With water temps in the low 80's....

And I am pulling out the Bill Dance Dancing Eel, purple and white. Never been opened. Been savin this for a time like this. ..... Watch out.

Oh no, please not the dancing eel!  I'll be sticking with a jig, so it looks like it's up to me.

See you at the ramp! Not necessarily bright, but definitely early. Grumpy is a nice way to describe me at the start of any day. Smiley Off to bed!

Here's an update from the Vine......Chapman and Lequie just brought in a 5.31 toad to have her weighed and released. Rumor has it that Helen and Mimi have at least one nice "over". Weigh-in is at 1:00pm, if your near the Vine come out and join us!

Congratulations to Chapman & Lequie for taking their first BPS Grapevine Series win with 14+ pounds, which included a 5.31 kicker. Anderson & Brouliette finished second with 12+ which included the BIG BASS of the day, a 6.21 anchor. Hupp & McClendon rounded the top-three with 9+ pounds. I will post the final results and the confirmed AOY winner later this evening.

Fun day on the Vine today. Thanks to Brandon Putnam for introducing me to the spot where we got our kicker today.  Smiley Thanks as always to my friend and partner Bruce Anderson. Great job! Congrats to Chapman & Lequie on their win.
