For those of you guys in the North & Central fishing the Lone Star Series there's no better place to be on Sept 10&11th than the Kelly Jordon Big Bass event on Rayburn.  Come join us.  With the lake level down you can spend some time looking for the prime spots in October.

And who knows if you catch a nice one it could be worth $10,000 cash.  You can get all the registration information at www.oakleybigbass.com

5 pounders will probably earn a decent hourly check in the later hours.

I don't catch 5 lbrs.  The 2lbrs might be in trouble though.

I am pre protesting TRoss based on his intention to break the law.  Oh wait, this is about him catching 5lbrs....nevermind.

Latest update on ramps at Rayburn below.

Due to low lake levels, some boat ramps are unusable and have been closed.

Closed/Unusable Boat Ramps: Marion Ferry, Ewing, Etoile Park, McAllister, Rayburn Park west and north boat ramps, Cassels Boykin new boat ramp west 2 lanes, Shirley Creek, Monterrey, Mill Creek.

Use caution at Twin Dikes north ramp - small boats ONLY.

All other boat ramps have been reported open and usable.

Cassels has RV space available and so does Jackson Hill Park & Marina, ramps at Jackson Hill are good.

Be careful at Caney Creek, it’s getting gnarly.
